The BoB project benefits from the help of several collaborators, both organizations and individuals.
Arnau Simón, engineer, has adpated the design of the bioreactor for industrial production. He has produced technical drawings for mold injection, validated the movement transmisión system of the adapted design and produced 3D files for rapid prototyping production and mechanical characterisation.
GREP is the research group on production, process and product engineering (Grup de Recerca en Enginyeria de Producte, procés i producció) of the University of Girona. GREP has helped The BoB project in the adaptation of the bioreactor for industrial production.
CIC biomaGUNE is a research center created to promote scientific research and technological innovation in biomaterials. CIC biomaGUNE has developed a novel, patent-pending system for the non-invasive cell harvesting from adherent cells culture devices. CIC biomaGUNE is currently the patent holder of the Bolt-on Bioreactor technology and is collaborating actively in the development of the BoB.
European Commission. The Bolt-on Bioreactor project is partly funded by the European Commission through the European Social Fund.
Geoff Foote, Managing Partner at Biomedical Strategy Consultants, is a consultant specialised in the biomed sector. Geoff collaborates in business development activities mainly in the Asia-Pacific region.
María Fernandez, MBA, is the international contact person for fundraising and investors relation from her current location in Singapore.
Inbiomed is a private research foundation dedicated to biomedical research and
regenerative medicine. Inbiomed and The BoB project have signed an agreement to inititiate
collaboration aimed at developing the Bolt-on Bioreactor.
BioDonostia is an international centre of reference in the field of health research,
giving priority to promoting translational research and firmly backing innovation in
medical and health technologies. BioDonostia and The BoB project have signed an agreement
to inititiate collaboration aimed at developing the Bolt-on Bioreactor.
Javier Balliache, Inventor, quadcopters designer and programmer. Javier is using his digital design skills and 3D printing capacity to help The BoB project accelerate prototyping.
Eduardo Gómez, PhD Industrial Engineering, collaborates in the development of the electronic control and peripherals integration of the bolt-on bioreactor.
Fomento de San Sebastián, the municipal agency for business development, gave financial support to the entrepreneur to set-up the business activity.
Anonymous companies. Two companies have collaborated with The BoB project in the review and validation of the business model and in the review of the financial forecasts and the construction of some elements of the prototype. These collaborators prefer to stay anonymous. The BoB team appreciate very much their help.
Anonymous individuals. Four skilled professionals have collaborated with The BoB project in strategic planning, business model design, CAD drawing and financial forecast. Due to different reasons they prefer to remain anonymous. We are very grateful for their help.
